Privacy notice
Draft awaiting review by a qualified reviewer · Last updated 28 October 2026
This notice covers the one place tequila.dev collects personal data: the invite request. The site sets no cookies of its own and uses no trackers or analytics.
Who is responsible
Phainon LLC, the maker of Tequila Platform, is responsible for the data you leave here.
How to reach us
Write to sales@tequila.dev about anything in this notice, including a request to see or delete your data.
What we collect
Only what you type into the invite request: your e-mail address, a note about yourself and what you are building, and, if you add it, your organisation. We also record when the request was made. We do not store your IP address or browser details.
Why
To decide whether to invite you, to reply, and to issue the invitation if the answer is yes. Nothing else, and no marketing.
Legal basis
Steps you ask us to take before a contract (GDPR article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in choosing whom to invite (article 6(1)(f)). We ask for no consent, because none is needed for this.
How long we keep it
A request is kept for 12 months from the decision, or from the request if none was taken, and then deleted. If you ask sooner, we delete it sooner. The record that a decision was taken stays in our audit trail without your details.
Who sees it
The founders of Tequila Platform, signed into the platform’s admin area, where every read and action is recorded. No third party sees your request. It is stored on Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt (eu-central-1). The reply and the invitation are sent by the platform’s own identity service through its mail provider.
Where it is stored
In the European Union. Your request does not leave it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and complain to a supervisory authority. Write to us at the address above; we answer from it.
Cookies and tracking
None on this site. Nothing is loaded from third parties; the videos play from youtube-nocookie.com only after you press play. Your theme choice is kept in your own browser and never sent to us. If you sign in, the identity service sets one session cookie, needed for the sign-in and nothing else.
If you are invited
The invitation and any account you then create are covered by the platform’s own notices, shown when you sign in.
